Job summary

Target seeks a Sr Engineering Manager for Operational Technology Security to lead a team of engineers responsible for building and operating OT security platforms across the enterprise. You will own exposure management, asset visibility, and secure configuration across OT environments, partnering with Infrastructure, Network Security, and IAM teams.

The role requires 8+ years in OT security, 3+ years in engineering leadership, and strong automation and cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in OT and security engineering.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams with delivery impact.
• Experience leading production platforms with defined service objectives and on-call support.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 and adjacent frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82).
• Hands-on with automation and platform-building (Python/Go; IaC, CI/CD).
• Experience aligning OT security controls with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Lead Engineers for OT security capabilities.
• Drive requirements with stakeholders and advocate secure engineering practices in OT.
• Oversee a high-performing engineering team, staffing, processes, and tools.
• Provide career development and performance management for engineers.
• Set coding, testing, on-call, and postmortem standards for reliability.
• Own OT security platforms and data pipelines from development to operation.
• Coordinate with Network Security and IAM on OT security initiatives.
• Translate requirements into a prioritized engineering roadmap and deliver.
