ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for our next Operational Support Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical execution and readiness of equipment and deployment operations. You will coordinate mobilization and demobilization activities, vessel interfaces, warehouse/shop operations, asset management, maintenance, and cross-functional technical support. This will require a background in mission or deployment planning, logistics, and a massive amount of attention to detail. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Planning, Deployment, and Sustainment:

  • Conduct monthly inventories of equipment spread across multiple assets.
  • Support daily offshore testing efforts from a hardware and logistics perspective.
  • Take on the principal responsibilities of the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs and heavy duty equipment in the field.
  • Participate in day-to-day logistics operations including supporting over the ground transport and craning operations.
  • Attend project site surveys, mobilizations, and demobilizations.
  • Work with field team and quality to RMA defective equipment.
  • Interface for operations and logistics within field ops team; work directly with Operational Support Lead to ensure timely arrival of the correct gear and support equipment.
  • Work closely with supply chain managers to maintain inventory management.
  • Provide FO consumables tracking and replenishment.
  • Maintain organization and accountability of warehouse, shop, and storage areas.
  • Support purchasing activities by identifying materials needs and providing inventory information.
  • Help improve warehouse procedures, labeling systems, storage layouts, and inventory control processes.
  • Track equipment movements, transfers, and returns between warehouse, shop, field locations, and projects.
  • Maintain and organized system for tools, consumables, and project equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills

US Salary Range

$99,000 - $130,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
