Scenic Bluffs is currently seeking a full-time Operational Supervisor – Behavioral Health Services who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of outpatient and school-based behavioral health programs to ensure efficient service delivery, exceptional patient and student experiences, regulatory compliance, and achievement of organizational goals. This position provides operational leadership to patient care coordinators that support behavioral health scheduling and will be the direct supervision for our behavioral health specialist staff while collaborating closely with licensed behavioral health providers, school partners, and organizational leadership.
The Operational Supervisor supports patient access, workflow management, school-based service coordination, quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and compliance with FQHC, state, federal, payer, and school district requirements. The position plays a critical role in expanding access to behavioral health services for patients, students, families, and community partners.
This candidate must have strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) is also preferred but not required. The ability to communicate with others in all areas of positions, from provider staff to administration staff, to outside community partners. A team player, flexible and someone who is comfortable with ambiguity. This position needs someone that is a self-starter and is comfortable in a position that does not have concrete workflows and is able to create processes and procedures. The individual must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable and provide own transportation. Travel between sites is a requirement of this position.
An associates degree and/or 2-3 years’ experience in the healthcare environment, Social Services, Public Health or related field is preferred. Minimum three (3) years of healthcare, behavioral health, or community health operations experience. Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience working within an FQHC, community health center, behavioral health program, school-based program, or integrated healthcare environment preferred.
