Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. seeks an Associate to support design and maintenance of the operational risk governance framework. You will bridge governance oversight with hands-on project delivery across teams in Salt Lake City or Dallas.

You will coordinate timelines and stakeholder inputs, assist risk reviews, and maintain leadership-ready reporting and governance materials to drive risk-aware execution aligned with enterprise risk appetite.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in operational risk, program management, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of risk, controls, issues, audit findings, remediation or governance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for updates and leadership summaries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, stakeholder inputs, and follow-ups across teams.
• Assist with risk and issue reviews and track items through to completion.
• Maintain clear program reporting, status updates, and leadership summaries.
• Partner with risk, business, compliance, audit, and technology stakeholders to support governance.
• Document risks, controls, issues, decisions, and follow-up actions clearly.
• Identify themes, risks, or delays and escalate when needed.
• Update procedures and governance materials to ensure consistent execution.
