Job Title: Operational Readiness Project Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Hire Type: Onsite, Long-Term Contract

Target Pay Range: $60.00 - $80.00/hour (W2 with full employee benefits)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Program/Project Manager with a strong background in operational readiness strategy to lead and coordinate multiple workstreams within our manufacturing operations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of manufacturing process nodes, including MES, digital tools, and overall operational strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing complex programs, managing diverse stakeholders, and ensuring smooth integration of digital and operational systems.

Job Duties:

  1. Manage and oversee multiple workstreams focused on operational readiness within manufacturing.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure production processes are fully optimized and prepared.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, automation, IT, and manufacturing—to align workstreams with operational objectives.
  4. Lead the deployment and enhancement of MES, digital tools, and other essential manufacturing systems.
  5. Identify potential risks related to operational readiness and process integration, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  6. Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  7. Establish reporting frameworks to monitor progress, assess risks, and ensure timely execution of projects.
  8. Serve as the primary liaison with leadership regarding operational readiness initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in program/project management within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Expertise in operational readiness and process optimization within manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing process nodes, including MES, digital tools, and automation technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale operational readiness programs with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong ability to develop strategic plans and execute projects in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
