Job summary

Lilly in Houston is building a greenfield API manufacturing site and seeks a Project Manager responsible for end-to-end operational readiness across the full project lifecycle. You will drive readiness planning, scheduling, and execution to enable a successful GMP startup.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams, align schedules with the master plan, track progress, and report metrics to stakeholders while upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related scientific discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing (pharma/biotech preferred).
• Project management experience; ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Define and mature operational readiness scope across technical areas.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to create an integrated, milestone-driven schedule.
• Own end-to-end tracking of operational readiness deliverables with clear metrics.
• Integrate readiness schedules with the master project schedule and manage risk.
• Bridge readiness activities with construction and qualification to enable GMP startup.
• Serve as site PM SME, embedding best practices, tools, and governance across functions.
• Escalate concerns and provide timely status updates to leadership.
• Uphold Lilly standards for safety, environment, quality, and operational excellence.
