Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a civilian Operational Psychologist for Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. This full-time contract position supports our Active Duty personnel in a compliant, insured clinical environment with a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D.

or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology (APA-accredited) with an APA-accredited internship/residency, an active state license, and relevant experience with military or intelligence communities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• APA-accredited internship/residency in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Active state license for independent practice in Clinical or Counseling Psychology in the identified primary location.
• At least two years of full-time experience with military Special Operations, military, civilian intelligence, or equivalent agencies.
• Training in Sport/Performance Psychology or Human Factors.
• BLS Certification.

Qualifications:

The Psychologist will have the following requirements:

• Must have completed a Ph.D or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program
• Must have successfully completed an APA accredited internship/residency in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Must hold and maintain an active state license for independent practice in Clinical or Counseling Psychology in the identified primary location and follow the ehtical guidelines for this state.
• At least two (2) years of full-time, professional experience working directly with military Special Operations units OR military OR civilian intelligences agencies OR equivalent law enforcement organizations
• Has successfully completed graduate-level coursework or certification in Sport/Performance Psychology or Human Factors through a regionally accredited university or recognized national level professional organization or equivalent professional experience
• BLS Certification
