Job summary

Welch Packaging in Kentucky is seeking a production associate to join our manufacturing team. You will support daily packaging operations, uphold safety standards, and work to meet build rates with accuracy and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year in a production environment, with strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to contribute to quality products.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure the product built is to spec and 100% accurate.
• Maintain the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to customers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards of the plant.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
