Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Operational Improvement Senior Technical Expert to optimize outage costs across the lifecycle.

You will serve as a senior technical authority, applying field execution expertise and data to drive cost reductions while preserving safety, quality, and schedule integrity. You will lead cross-functional teams to standardize cost-optimization solutions, translate field learnings into measurable savings, and influence operations leaders toward sustainable best

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power-generation field service or outage execution.
• Expertise in Operational Improvement, Continuous Improvement, or Project Controls with Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Proven ability to reduce operational costs in complex field environments.
• Advanced understanding of outage planning, mobilization, execution, demobilization, and closeout workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willing to travel 35% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification and prioritization of structural outage-cost drivers and cost variability across planning, execution, and closeout.
• Perform root cause analysis on cost overruns and inefficiencies, translating findings into scalable actions.
• Define and support standardized outage practices, including tooling, staffing models, sequencing, and work scopes.
• Translate field experience and data into quantified savings and performance impacts.
• Engage with field teams to capture improvement opportunities and support cost-reduction initiatives.
