Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Audit Supervisor to join our Internal Audit team in Houston. The role balances hands-on audit execution with developing others and delivering insights to improve operations.

You will lead complex operational and financial audits, guide audit teams, and provide coaching to staff while maintaining independence and professional skepticism. Travel up to 25% within the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CIA, or similar certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of operational and financial audits across Sysco’s operating companies, divisions, and corporate functions.
• Oversee audit teams, ensuring high‑quality execution and timely delivery of audit objectives.
• Interact with operating locations including warehouses and distribution centers.
• Travel up to ~25%, primarily within the U.S., with occasional international travel.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and real‑time feedback to develop audit staff and strengthen team capability.
• Balance multiple engagements by adjusting priorities and resources based on risk and business needs.
