Job summary

Cirtec Medical seeks an Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement across manufacturing, driving efficiency, reducing costs and expanding capacity. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma and SMED techniques to improve processes, production flow and equipment utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing or operational excellence experience, leadership preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; medical device experience a plus.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience required; Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning and project management skills.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred; fluent English.

Position Summary

The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, optimize capacity, and support business objectives. This role provides leadership in applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies to improve processes, production flow, equipment utilization, and overall manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop operational plans for staffing, equipment, capacity, and space requirements.
• Lead production line design, layout improvements, capacity planning, and ramp-up activities for new and existing programs.
• Develop, monitor, and report key operational performance metrics.
• Identify and lead cost-reduction and process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Review production processes, schedules, workflows, and engineering requirements to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.
• Lead initiatives to optimize labor, material, overhead, equipment utilization, and manufacturing flow while maintaining quality standards.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and senior leadership to resolve manufacturing challenges and implement improvements.
• Provide leadership and direction for operational excellence initiatives across departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant manufacturing or operational excellence experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required; medical device experience is a plus.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience required; Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Salary Range

$100,000- 145,000
