Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Business Excellence Professional to join our Spartanburg, SC team. You will drive Lean initiatives, support continuous improvement programs, and manage cross-functional projects within the Business Excellence field.

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and value stream thinking to identify waste, improve processes, and deliver measurable results, while collaborating with plant leadership and operations partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Business Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement
• Experience delivering business processes, improvement initiatives, or operational solutions in a self-managed manner.
• Experience analyzing, developing, testing, or implementing process improvements, technologies, or systems in manufacturing/operational environments.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, standard work, and process performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and deliver Business Excellence processes, improvement activities, and detailed operational solutions aligned with team and business objectives.
• Manage work packages, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in a self-managed, target-oriented manner.
• Analyze, develop, test, and implement process improvements, technologies, and systems within the Business Excellence area.
• Develop project documentation, improvement plans, business cases, implementation roadmaps, and performance tracking methods.
• Monitor progress against short- to medium-term targets and support achievement of measurable business results.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Shopfloor Management, Leader Standard Work, Kaizen, Visual Management, and Standardized Work to improve business performance.
