Job summary

BARNES is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the deployment of operational excellence across the West Chester facility. You will partner with site leadership to identify opportunities and drive step-change performance.

This onsite role focuses on Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and the VITAL system, delivering projects from concept to sustainment while building workforce capability.

You will use data to track KPIs, mentor teams, and share best practices across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering measurable improvements in business/operational performance.
• Proven hands-on continuous improvement tools and methodologies (Lean, TOC, Kaizen); certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to site leadership to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Analyze processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and develop improvement strategies.
• Lead deployment, sustainment, and evolution of CI programs and the VITAL Operating System at the site.
