Job summary

Barnes Group is seeking an on-site Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager at the West Chester, OH facility to partner with site leadership and drive a step change in business performance through CI principles and tools.

The role leads the strategy and execution of CI initiatives across the facility, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards while building organizational capability in CI methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years delivering measurable improvements in business or operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to identify opportunities for operational and financial performance improvement.
• Lead deployment and evolution of the VITAL Operating System at the site.
• Identify, prioritize and lead high-impact CI projects from concept to sustainment.
• Establish CI frameworks, governance and standard work across the organization.
• Coach and mentor employees in CI methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and finance to drive cross-functional improvements.
