Job summary

Barnes Group Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to drive operational excellence at the West Chester, OH site. You will partner with site leadership to define strategy and lead CI initiatives, deploying lean methods, VITAL-like systems, and data-driven problem solving.

You will build capability by coaching teams, running kaizen events, and measuring impact with KPIs. This role requires 5+ years CI in manufacturing, strong communication, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years delivering measurable CI improvements.
• Proficient in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Able to lead across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to identify and prioritize CI opportunities.
• Lead deployment of CI frameworks and standard work at the site.
• Coach and mentor employees in CI methodologies and tools.
• Facilitate workshops, kaizen events and problem-solving sessions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track CI impact and sustainment.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality and finance to drive improvements.
