Job summary

Baxter is seeking an experienced Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to lead continuous improvement initiatives across its US operations. You will analyze processes, drive efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate quality and performance.

The role emphasizes training, governance, and sustaining improvements, with a base salary in the posted range and comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations management, or process engineering, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
• Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess complex processes.
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma and tools like process mapping and statistical analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong project management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with Baxter's objectives.
• Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness of CI initiatives.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks for improvement.
• Lead CI projects from initiation to completion within time and budget.
• Provide training on CI methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain to align CI efforts.
• Document and report on CI activities, results, and recommendations.
• Develop systems to sustain improvements in SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance.
