Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. seeks an Operational Excellence Manager to lead the site’s continuous improvement initiatives, manage a portfolio of high-value projects, and coach leaders in successful execution of improvement events.

This role embeds OpEx practices into daily work, develops Lean Leaders, and drives sustainable business processes across the site. The role requires strong experience in Lean/Six Sigma, change management, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on eliminating waste and

Qualifications

• Proven track record of utilizing Operational Excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma to improve processes and achieve sustainable results.
• Ability to lead design and implementation of streamlined OpEx tools for Problem Solving, 5S, Kanban, Visual Controls, Kaizen, Standard Work, Mistake-proofing, Value Stream Mapping and BPM.
• Proficiency with modern training techniques including e-learning and simulations.
• Strong Kaizen facilitation skills with experience in rapid problem solving and value stream mapping.
• Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data and financial reports; interface with technical experts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the establishment of the site continuous improvement framework and deployment plan.
• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities to increase value and reduce waste.
• Manage a transformational OpEx portfolio and align with site objectives.
• Lead, execute, and capture sustained benefits on cross-functional projects.
• Mentor and train OpEx Leaders; develop leaders to drive improvements.
• Coordinate OpEx reporting, metrics, and communications across departments.
• Drive BPM to simplify processes and promote lean adoption across the site.
• Develop OpEx tools and learning materials to accelerate competency.
