Job summary

Cretex Medical in Dassel, MN is seeking Engineering Interns for the summer of 2027. Interns provide technical support across Manufacturing, Quality, or Operational Excellence projects, assisting from scope through implementation.

Responsibilities include supporting internal customers, improving processes, and collaborating across sales, engineering, and quality teams. A strong emphasis on 5S and quality compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality and finance as needed.
• Understand customer needs and core markets served.
• Participate in required company and department meetings.
• Maintain an organized work area (5S).
• Support and comply with Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
