Cretex Medical in Dassel, MN is offering a Chemical Engineering Intern position for the summer of 2027. The intern will provide technical support across Manufacturing, Quality, or Operational Excellence projects and assist the Engineering team from scope definition through implementation.

This internship provides exposure to process improvements, blueprint reading, and collaboration with suppliers and coworkers across Cretex businesses in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated software skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring devices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and team-building skills with suppliers and coworkers.
• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Part manufacturability technical support.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.
