Job summary

NWU in Bloomington, IL seeks a motivated graduate Operations Analytics role to document and improve business processes, analyze data, and explore AI use cases across functions. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to gather input and support workstream execution.

You will assist in planning and executing Operational Excellence and AI initiatives, including creating training materials and change-management activities, and help maintain process documentation and templates.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Assist in documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes across multiple functions, including process mapping and workflow assessment.
• Support identification, research, and evaluation of AI use cases; assist with pilots, experimentation, adoption initiatives, and documentation of AI-enabled opportunities and outcomes.
• Gather, organize, and analyze business and operational data to measure productivity improvements, process efficiency, AI adoption, and business value.
• Support planning and execution of Operational Excellence and AI-related initiatives, including stakeholder communications, meeting preparation, action item tracking, training materials, and change management activities.
• Help develop and maintain process documentation, standards, templates, user guides, and business transformation resources.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather input, support workstream execution, and contribute to recommendations that improve work processes.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Current pursuit of a Master's degree or final-year Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Technology, Digital Transformation, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, business transformation, and enterprise technology.
• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and summarize data and business information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentation of findings.
