Job summary

Seattle City Light is seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to lead and support organizational improvement initiatives through structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.

The position is instrumental to support the utility in achieving its strategic priorities over the next ten years, namely: decreasing utility costs and improving customer experience by reducing lead and cycle times for new electric service connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or related field.
• Two years of experience in systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis.
• Lean Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, SQL).
• Experience with workflow automation tools (Adobe Sign, Microsoft PowerAutomate).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage improvement initiatives with diverse teams.
• Analyze processes, identify pain points, perform root cause analysis and test countermeasures.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to inform decisions.
• Assist with integrating new applications to automate and streamline processes.
• Collaborate across departments to drive well-coordinated improvements.
• Manage multiple improvement projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Engage stakeholders and manage change across levels.
