Job summary

First Trust Capital Management (FTCM) with FT AIR is seeking an Operational Due Diligence Associate to support the Director of ODD across hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and other alternative investments. Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant work experience in public accounting or evaluating fund managers.
• Strong writing skills are required for documenting reviews and investment recommendations.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in due diligence of fund managers and document findings.
• Perform operational due diligence on co-investments and direct investments.
• Document ODD calls and prepare Investment Committee memos.
• Create summaries and evaluate back-office operations and pricing procedures.
• Review legal and marketing documents and other agreements.
• Interact with internal teams including Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Accounting.
• Support a collaborative team environment and stay informed on industry trends.
• Prepare for travel and on-site meetings with fund managers.
