Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a drafting engineer in Tulsa, OK to provide modeling, submittal and fabrication drawings for MIRATECH product lines. You will modify 3D SolidWorks models for made-to-order products and create dimensional drawings for sales and manufacturing.

A two-year degree is required; CSWP/CSWE preferred; 2+ years drafting experience; Syspro ERP knowledge and MS Office skills are desired. The role offers benefits including health insurance, 401k match, paid leave, on-site gym, and bonus

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering from an accredited technical school, college or university.
• Proficient with SolidWorks modeling and drawing creation; sheet metal experience a plus.
• Prefer 2 (+) years of direct industrial, engineering, or production drafting and support experience.
• SOLIDWORKS CSWP or CSWE preferred.
• Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Dimensional verification and quality control of finished drawings.
• Continuous focus on cost reductions in design and fabrication by working with the production group.
• Understand fabrication design techniques and the cost impact of design assembly drawings and materials.
• Communicate thoroughly and regularly to establish a warm working relationship with internal and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Collaborates with: Engineering, Sales, Production
