Job summary

MIRATECH in Houston, Texas is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to provide modeling, submittal and dimensional drawings for MIRATECH product lines. You will complete 3D SolidWorks model modifications for made-to-order products and create production and assembly drawings for fabrication, with emphasis on accuracy and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Excel, and the ability to work independently; sheet metal experience and Syspro ERP knowledge

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering from an accredited technical school, college or university.
• Proficient with SolidWorks modeling and drawing creation; sheet metal experience a plus.
• Prefer 2 (+) years of direct industrial, engineering, or production drafting and support experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• SOLIDWORKS CSWP or CSWE preferred.
• Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Communicate thoroughly and regularly to establish a warm working relationship with internal and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
