Position Overview

K18 seeks a highly skilled and experienced Operations Strategy Implementation Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating strategic plans into actionable initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, and driving operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, cost optimization, tariff mitigation, and long-term risk management. This is a fully remote position, and is a fixed term role to lead a key strategic project with an anticipated duration of 6 - 9 months.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain for cost efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Tariffs Mitigation: Analyze and navigate international trade regulations and tariffs to minimize costs and ensure compliance. Develop strategies to mitigate the impact of tariffs on the company's operations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, including geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors. Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure business continuity and resilience.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Implement tools and technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including procurement, logistics, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic plans.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience with Business transformation, change, and program management is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and tariffs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and supply chain management software.
  • Forward thinker and AI enthusiast with the willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • 15% travel may be required.

Salary Range: $120,000-$135,000 USD
