Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the transporting patients to and from surgery.
• Ensure all movable equipment is safely stored and cleaned after use.
• Report nonfunctional or broken equipment to management.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels.
• Identify patients accurately and prepare them for transport to surgery.
• Use appropriate cleaning solutions after each use of equipment.
• Assist the operating team with turnover between cases.
• Interact with patients, families, visitors, and staff professionally.
• Attend required safety training and follow general safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively and perform basic math with accuracy.
• Follow standard precautions and OSHA guidelines.
