• Collaborates with the RN to perform intra-operative activities and support anesthesia and OR staff.
• Verifies equipment function and reports issues immediately.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and infection control standards per AORN/AST guidance.
• Ensures patient positioning and safe use of electrical and power equipment.
• Maintains unit policies and follows chain of command to resolve problems.
• Demonstrates initiative to assist the OR team during codes or critical events.
• Attends mandatory training and shares knowledge with new staff.
