Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with accredited OR Technician training.
• Certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Commitment to patient safety and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention throughout operations.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure efficient OR workflow.
