Job summary

High school graduate with an accredited OR Technician program, and current AST and BLS certifications are required. This hourly role offers daily shifts and competitive pay in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma completed and accredited OR Technician training program.
• Current AST certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Commitment to patient safety and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.
• Provide scrub support and assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies throughout all steps.
• Handle, organize, and pass surgical instruments and equipment with precision.
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after surgery to support safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with perioperative team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
