Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams during procedures and maintain sterile technique on a part-time, night-shift basis. Summary: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

One year OR Training or Experience.

Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

BLS. Surgical Technologist Certification required for external hires per NJ State Law. Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year.

Hourly Rate: $28.63 - $44.54 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
