Qualifications

• Must understand aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns.
• Six months of patient care experience in an acute care or operating room environment is preferred.
• Adherence to established safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist perioperative nurse, anesthesiologist, and surgeons with patient care.
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room safely.
• Assist in orthopedic traction setup and skin preparations.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the operating room.
• Ensure procurement of supplies for the operating room.
