Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an OR support team member to ensure excellent patient care, maintain safety, and assist in medical operations at 90 Blossom Street. The role requires adherence to patient safety and hospital procedures, including patient identification and transfer safety.

The position is onsite with an evening shift (3PM-11PM) and a 40-hour work week. Prior hospital experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required to qualify for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year medical office/hospital experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow written directions; strong body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient/family-centered care through cordial greetings and interactions with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Provides hospital/unit orientation information for guests, patients, and families.
• Demonstrates awareness of hospital systems, procedures, and locations of departments and services.
• Transfers patients and assists in patient movement following safety protocols.
• Identifies patients using two approved identifiers.
• Ensures safety during patient transfers and protocol adherence.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to support OR operations.
