Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Operating Room Technician to prepare sterile supplies and maintain the sterile field during procedures. You will assist the surgeon by providing instruments and maintaining equipment readiness.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, ORT training or 3+ years in surgery, and current BLS certification. This is a full‑time on‑site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• ORT training completion or 3+ years of surgical experience preferred.
• Experience scrubbing in general and specialty procedures.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during cases and assist surgeon with supplies.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for the assigned procedures.
