Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist within one year of graduation or eligible via military training.
  • Preferred: 1 year operating room or ambulatory surgery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
  • Assist with peri-operative patient care.
  • Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure efficient OR function.
  • Adhere to sterile technique and safety protocols.

They work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room. A Surgical Tech must have a strong understanding of sterile techniques and be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
