Job summary

Incredible Health in Allentown, PA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). The role provides direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintains an aseptic OR, and supports the surgical team with nursing duties and monitoring. ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience are preferred.

ACLS/PALS are a plus. Shifts include day, night, and mid options with full-time, part-time, or per diem availability.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree or equivalent.
• Active, unencumbered RN license required.
• 1+ year OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment in the OR.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and communicate with patients/families about care.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Allentown, PA area for the following position: Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On‑call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

• Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift
• Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra‑operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
