Job summary

Incredible Health in Belleville, NJ is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to join a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital. The role supports OR teams across CVOR, Neuro, transplant and robotic surgery, with day and mid shifts and options for full-time, part-time, or per diem.

You will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintain aseptic technique, monitor vitals, and communicate clearly with patients and families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• 1+ years OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative care and perform nursing/technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.
