Job summary

Incredible Health in Murrieta, CA is actively hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery in a high-volume environment.

Candidates should have ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1+ year OR experience, ACLS/PALS preferred, and strong communication. Shifts include day, night, and mid; options include full-time, part-time, or per diem with benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
