Incredible Health in Jackson, MI is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). The role supports OR teams across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Open heart, Orthopedics, PACU and more. Shifts include day, night, and mid shifts; full time, part time, or per diem options may be available.

The position emphasizes patient safety, aseptic technique, and teamwork with physicians, staff, patients and families. A strong clinical foundation and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Experience with aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe Operating Room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
