Incredible Health in Grand Blanc, MI is hiring an Operating Room/Surgical Nurse (RN). The role requires providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, with emphasis on aseptic technique, vital sign monitoring, and collaboration with the surgical team. Qualified candidates hold ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and OR experience.

ACLS/PALS preferred. Shift options include day, night; full-time, part-time, and per diem are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery.

• Assist intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing

• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
