Job summary

Incredible Health in Duluth, GA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery in a busy surgical suite. The role requires adherence to AORN standards and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Requirements include ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, 1+ year OR experience, ACLS or PALS certifications preferred, and excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Aseptic and sterile technique experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in intra-operative patient care as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure and postoperative care

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care

Salary: $59,640 to $100,000 /year
