Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in the Detroit, MI area. The role covers pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care with emphasis on aseptic technique and patient communication. 1+ year OR experience preferred along with RN licensure.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years of OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certifica­tion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe operating room environment.
• Assist intra-operative nursing duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and other parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care

Salary: $61,860 to $100,870 /year
