Incredible Health in Detroit, MI is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery. Opportunities span CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Open heart, Ortho, PACU, pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, and Vascular with on-call requirements.

Roles include maintaining aseptic OR conditions, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with physicians, staff, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Aseptic and sterile techniques experience.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
