Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in Bethlehem, PA. Roles include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

The team offers cross training, Level 1-4 trauma center exposure, magnet recognition, and PTO. Qualified candidates hold an ADN or higher in nursing, active RN license, and preferably 1+ year OR experience with ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing is required or preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ years OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic/sterile techniques; strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic, safe operating room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing/clinical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Bethlehem, PA area for the following position: Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

• Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift
• Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
