West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, TN seeks an unlicensed nursing assistant to support perioperative teams. Shifts are 12-hour; day or evening options available. Assist in patient prep, positioning, and postoperative care to facilitate age-specific patient care in OR, PAU, and PACU.

Role requires assisting with supplies, equipment availability, and maintaining clean, stocked areas. On-call and overtime may be required.

Formación

Equivalent to partial high school education, or comparable brief vocational training.
On-the-job training of about 2 weeks."
Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, hospital locations, body mechanics, and linen supplies.

Responsabilidades

Identify and transport patients through the perioperative process (PAU, OR, PACU).
Assist with surgical preps according to age-specific needs.
Assist in perioperative or intraoperative positioning and lifting of patients and equipment.
Ensure assigned areas have available equipment.
Restock all designated supply areas daily.
Run errands to the OR suite and other departments as needed.
Assist with cleaning of OR after cases (mopping, trash, suction canisters, tables).
Receive stock inventory and ensure proper placement of supplies.
Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
