Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Operating Room Assistant to support perioperative services. This role assists with patient transport, positioning, and essential set-up of bays and monitors, contributing to safe, efficient patient care.

Under the Perioperative Manager, you will stock supplies, assist with admissions/discharges, and help maintain cleanliness and readiness of the OR environment, while communicating clearly with patients and team members.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; basic web-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Transports patients as directed and assists with positioning for care.
• Assists nursing staff and circulates to support patient care tasks.
• Restocks supplies and sets up patient bays and monitors.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and prepares rooms for admissions.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Retrieves medications and specimens as directed.
