Job summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician I to provide critical support to anesthesia and surgical services. You will stock and restock supplies, clean and maintain anesthesia equipment and workspaces, and prepare operating room setups to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety.

The role emphasizes readiness of equipment, medications, and supplies, enabling efficient delivery of care. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of healthcare experience preferred; one year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and restock supplies for anesthesia and surgical services.
• Clean and maintain anesthesia equipment and workspaces.
• Prepare general operating room case setups and restock workrooms.
• Ensure equipment, medications, and supplies are readily available to support safe and efficient patient care.
