Responsibilities

• Facilitate efficient turnover of operating rooms between cases and prep for the next case.
• Transport patients, trays, blood gases, specimens and equipment.
• Support operative team with various requests during cases.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate to enhance patient care and daily operations.
• Participate as a productive member of the OR Assistant team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Refer to department documentation during orientation for specific duties.
• Maintain PHI securely with annual training and UH policies.
