Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to support the surgical team at MUSC CHS West Campus. Under supervision of licensed personnel, you will assist with direct patient care and daily unit tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of hospital experience, and BLS certification within two weeks of hire. Irregular hours and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least six months hospital experience.
• Completion of an allied health course or six months patient care experience preferred.
• BLS within two weeks of hire and maintain ongoing certification.
• Working irregular hours, rotating shifts and weekends may be required.
