Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK seeks an Associate Operating Room Assistant to support operating room staff, maintain a safe and clean environment, and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for patient care. This full-time role emphasizes reliability, flexibility, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Two shifts are available with 40 hours per week; the position requires BLS and a willingness to obtain CNA certification.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant at hire.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general support of the professional staff in the operating rooms to maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment for patient care.
• Handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate Operating Rooms and equipment, and restock supplies.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on a variety of technical equipment and ensure consistent attendance and flexibility.
