Job summary

Incredible Health in Austin, TX is actively hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to join our team. The role supports patients before, during, and after surgery, with opportunities across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Open heart, Ortho, PACU, and more.

Shifts include day, night, and mid. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem positions at a respected academic medical center with comprehensive benefits, paid time off, 401K, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic/sterile techniques.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist intra-operatively with nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure and postop care.
